Hi everyone…it’s Friday!! You only have the rest of today and tomorrow to enter your name again for my birthday giveaway. You can get to the “Sheep Giveaway” by going to the top of my sidebar and click on March 1st that is highlighted in red on the calendar. So if you really like that sheep…you might want to add your name again as time is running out.
I got my sheep game board redone and I really like how it turned out.
Before.
After.
My friend Linda stopped by last night with a birthday gift for me. She made me a cover for my sewing machine with a matching pin-keep…the fabric has old vintage sewing items on it. I will share it with you in an upcoming post because I have some sewing news to share. Now on to what else Linda gave me.
This sheep just too cute!! I ask her where she found it…and you’ll never guess what she told me. Lowes…who would of thought that Lowes had an adorable sheep!!
Since this post seems to be about sheep….I thought I would share some others pics of them with you. Enjoy~~
Sheep with machine embroidery sampler on it that I made as a gift for a friend.
Another sheep with a machine embroidery sampler on it that I made for a gift.
Sheep on wheels~kitchen towel.
Labels with sheep…and I will be showing how I made these soon. I finally found something today to put the label onto it, but I need to do a redo on it before I can attach the label.
Sheep candle holder.
Sheep stitchery on a hang-tag.
Sheep needle-work on a small pillow.
Last but not least~a small prim sheep.
See you all on my birthday to let you know who the lucky lady is that gets to have “one cute little sheep” come live with them!! Until Sunday…. blessings, Cindy

You have a thing for sheep, don’t you? I am starting to like Prim sheep, myself! They’re so cute!
The made over gameboard is really nice! It did need something extra along the sides! Stars are perfect
Love the stuff you got, too. I have seen those sheep! I forgot all about it! They have other farm animals, too, with the penny rugs! I saw them and wanted to post about it but forgot
Have a great weekend

I love your pictures… Hope you are doing well. I was over in your neck of the woods tonight at the Goodwill Thrift Store on Bechtle Ave. – I kept thinking I might run into you (lol). Anyway, they had lots of stuff, but nothing that I desperately needed. They did have a tater bin that someone had made and I thought that would be real cute re-done, but I left it behind. Are there other trift stores around there that I am missing out on?
Enjoy your weekend my friend.
Hugs,
Lisa

Cindy – I have a sheep collection too – just seemed natural for a rug hooker who loves everything wool. You’ve got some wonderful ones there!
BTW – Is there a place I can follow your blog? I’m having a hard time finding it.
