~Prim Goodies And Pretty Flowers~

Just a quick post…to give you a peek at some prim goodies that are part of an order that I’m just about done working on. Thinking that I will be all done sometime tomorrow…so I’ll have some framed samplers to share soon.

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July last weekend. We went to visit my in-laws on Sunday afternoon and I just have to share the pretty blooms of my MIL’s flowers with all of you. Oh how I wish that I had her green thumb…I would even just take the tip of her green thumb!!  LOL…

photoA Just love these flowers on this old wood bench…that is near the stairs leading up to the walkway to the front of their home.

photoD We are now past the bench and up on the walkway to the porch… and look at what greets each visitor on their way to the front door.

photoH However, you might not even make it to the front door… as the porch is so charming that you might just want to sit out there for a bit…

photoF and enjoy the view of all the beautiful flowers.

photoC Oh not to mention…who doesn’t love a house with a picket fence!! When I was a little girl, I always wanted to live in a house with a white picket fence….did you?

photoB See…I wasn’t kidding when I told you that my MIL has a green thumb!! I have to say that she has helped me to have some pretty flowers over the years…but I can tell you that mine have never looked like any of these!!  LOL…  Hope you enjoyed a peek at the outside of my in-laws wonderful home.

    Love your new prims, those pillows are so cute. Thanks for the beautiful tour of your MILs gardens & porch. They are just gorgeous & you are right ~ I would park my butt on that porch & that’s as far as I would get, LOL. Have a wonderful day.

    I love those sheep and those pillows are too cute!! Your MIL’s gardens are beautiful… she definitely has a green thumb and her porch is just so inviting. She has everything decorated so tastefully. Thanks for sharing with us.

    I think I am FINALLY out of my funk. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Oh – I am starting on my wood countertops tonight. I can hardly wait!!

    Hi Cindy, Wow! Those flowers are amazing and her porch looks like a great place to stitch or read a book with a big glass of iced tea! Okay, you’re one of the next group to have to Whoo Hoo when that new baby arrives. So glad your daughter is doing better – I’ll be you were afraid! Congratulations though.     I love how you do the stitching on the pieces.
    I really need to get out my embroidery stuff and start learning how to use my machine.
    I like the idea of making gifts for friends that way.
