~Primitive Samplers and Christmas In July~
It sure has been busy around here at Cynthia lee Designs…I’ve been doing a lot of machine embroidery, sewing, and crafting, but before I get to that I have some wonderful news to share.
Remember all those pretty pictures of my MIL’s porch and flowers on my last post….well, I was contacted by Dave over at ”Front Porch Ideas and More” and they loved how my MIL had decorated her porch and ask if I would like to have some of the photos featured on their web-site. Needless to say, I was very excited about this and called my MIL….guess what? She was very excited too!! And as of last night…we are now featured on “Front Porch Ideas and More”. If you have not been to their web-site…go check it out. There are lots of great porch decorating and landscaping ideas to look through. My photos are under “Porch Decorating” and also under “Landscaping Ideas”…there is a link to their site on my side-bar under “~Web-sites That I Love To Visit~”. (Dave, thanks so much for asking us…we are so thrilled to have the pictures on your site!!)

Now on to ~Christmas In July~…
With the craft show season starting in a few short months, I have to start thinking ahead to Fall/Halloween and Christmas/Winter as I make and take items for these seasons to my shows. Since I share some Fall/Halloween goodies a few posts back…it’s time to share Christmas/Winter goodies.
You all know how I feel about Pillow Tucks…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them, so I will be making lots for my shows. Some will be hand appliqued like these and some will be machine embroidery.
For those of you that don’t know already…Snowman or Snow-ladies is something else that I just LOVE, so I’ll have to make some primitive snowmen this year also!
Plus I’ll have to make some primitive Christmas goodies as well.
Oh…did I mention that I LOVE Snowman and Pillow Tucks!!! (LOL…) These were one of my best sellers last year and if I can find all the supplies that I need to make them…I will be making more. If I can’t find the exact supplies…I will still be making these with a few changes to them. Might even do them a little more primitive looking, so be sure to check back to see what I’ll be creating for my upcoming show season.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I’m going to end this post…sharing with you all a couple of pictures of what I’ve been working on most recently. For several weeks now, I’ve been working on a large wholesale order and I’m finally all done with it. I must say that I’m very happy with how everything turned out…and within the next few days, I will be sending all the prim sheep, all the prim pillows, and all the prim samplers out to one very special gal…who has been so kind, while waiting for all these goodies!!

Until next time…. prim blessings, Cindy

You never disappoint me with your goodies. I wish I had a houseful of them.
Or maybe I should just get busy and start sewing. Its just so hot upstairs with no air and that’s where the machines are.
Take Care,
Debbie

I did have a nice visit with Dad and I did beat the storm – that never developed! We need rain, but I hope it holds off until after the sidewalk sale. Have a great weekend. Dawn
