Wow…has it been a long day!! I’ve been at the first day of my Holiday Gift Show and just wanted to show you the holiday dish towels that I made for this show. I had about 25 to 30 towels…so I displayed some from the window display, hung some on the booth wall, and laid others on the table tops and shelves.
They have sold really well. Here is some close-ups of the designs that I put on them.
The show was very slow today and we never really got the big crowd that we usually have on Friday. I hope that Saturday is much better…cuz if not, it is going to be another very long day. Also not nearly as many crafters/vendors…one room has about half the booth spaces not filled at all. The room we are located in is the fullest, but we still have several empty spaces that did not get filled. This show is held in a very large arena complex and is in its 26th year. Kind of sad to see it this way as it has always been known as the big holiday show that kicks off the Christmas season. Many are wondering if there will be a 27th year.
Well, it’s late here…so I’m off to get some rest. I’ll be back in a few days to let you know how the show turns out. Until then…. blessings, Cindy

I hope things pick up for you Cindy. It seems people are holding on to their money for as long as possible this year.Apparently, tomorrow is Cyber Sunday. So if you are advertising your wares online, you are likely to do well as it’s the first day that people go online to do their Christmas shopping. We can only hope !Take care.x

The dish towels look great! Makes me feel guilty that my machine has been sitting upstairs, un=used for the past 10 months. If school doesn’t happen next semester maybe I should get up there and start getting busy.
They had their big Christmas show here last weekend. There didn’t seem to be as many crafters as I remember there being but the crowd was sure there. Hope your weekend picks up!
Take Care,
Debbie

Those dish towels are REALLY cute! Hope today was better for you and the crowd was up. It is sad when all of a sudden a show isn’t good anymore we have had that happen to us in the past years so now we only do two a year. I’m thinking of doing a really big one next season though not sure yet. Our show last weekend was good we were $20 over our sales from last year so I consider that good. Take care, hugs!
