I feel like I’m going in fast mode this week…actually, things have not slowed down since before last weekend. I’ve had something going on everyday and will have through Monday of next week. As you know, we had family in from Tenn. over the weekend and I watched my grandkids on Saturday.
On Monday…I did housework.
Tuesday…I spent the day with my youngest daugther…we went to lunch and ran errands together.
Wednesday…I went to the hair salon to get me hair done. (I don’t have gray hair anymore!!)
Today/Thursday…a friend is stopping by to bring me a birthday gift and then in the afternoon…my sister is taking me out to eat and shopping for my birthday.
Friday…I spending the day with my mom; we always spend a day together near my birthday.
Now, we are up to Saturday…my youngest is graduating from The Art Institute of Pittsburg with a graphic arts degree. She went to school on-line while working full-time in the hair salon. We are taking her out to dinner with family to celebrate.
Sunday…I’m resting. And on Monday…Mr. D is taking me away for the day for my birthday. Makes me tired just thinking about all of it. LOL… But I know that I’m so blessed to be spending time with those that I love and are so special to me.
So, with everything that is going on….I’ve decided to start my giveaways today. This is giveaway #1 in honor of 200th post. Thank you all for stopping by and visiting with me. I have made many friends that are near and far…and it is because of all of you that I’ve made it to my 200th post and almost to my 2nd year blogiversary. Just reading what you have been up too left me feeling tired but I agree that spending time with family is good. I wish I had family closer to me here.

Wow how you been a busy gal Cindy. Good luck at Saturdays Graduation. I bet you are one proud mamma. You have accomplished quite a lot in your blogging. I doubt I will ever reach 200 posts and if I do, it will probably take me 10 years. Oh well I’m having fun none the less. Thanks for being so generous with your giveaway. Trying to get ready for my first show in 4 weeks, helping 2 family members who are having medical issues and dealing with the other everyday things keeps me hopping. Sounds like quite a week for you. I would love to enter your giveaway as I don’t have any of Judy’s books, between my set Early Life books, Country Home books and the magazines I get I just couldn’t justify spending the money but I have heard wonderful things about these books. Happy Birthday Cindy!!! Thank you so much for your sweet thoughtful comment, it means so much to me. I’m SO sorry about your friend’s son, that is beyond sad. I hope he gets better fast. It is way too weird how much brain cancer there is around. One of my closeset friends is head of the nurses at our local hospital and she thinks brain cancer is at a all time high right now, she said there is 5 cases right now at the hospital ranging from 20′s to 60. I know 3 people very close that have it, one passed away last year. Way to scarey! I am hoping for the best with my Dad and trying to stay positive and enjoy the time we do have, one day at a time is my motto now. Hugs to you, enjoy your weekend dear friend!

Hi Cindy! I have been following you in my reader; but this post made me come a running. Girl you are a whirlwind! I would so LOVE to win the book and goodies. I sure need some eye candy up here in gloomy MI. LOL; I hope you and your family are doing well! Busy, busy week girl! But how wonderful that it is full of family and friends!! I love those kinds of weeks the best. Our weeks are usually full of sports, running here there and everywhere.
