I mentioned in my last post that we were going to go to the big Flea Market Extravaganza this past weekend. Well, we did and let me share with you some of the things that I was looking for…
~Old watch pieces and lace trim to use in my crafts and jewelry making.~ I did find some, but it was not cost-effective for me to get them. I used to have a supplier, but they are not in business anymore…so I will keep looking.
~White Pitchers~ I have been looking for some bigger white pitchers to add to my collection. I have several small and medium size ones, but only a few that are large in size. Well…..I only saw a few at the flea market and couldn’t afford them. So, I will keep looking at the thrift shops and GW…which is where I got the one is this picture.
~A large wooden goose.~ I actually found a vendor that had a few large geese…but those huge geese had really huge price tags!! The cheapest one was $595.00!! Guess I will continue looking for one of these too.
So….there was no flea market goodies for me. I did pick up a small wood sewing spool that is a part of a gift that I’m making for a friend. And Mr. D & I picked up an antique typewriter for $20.00 for our youngest DD for her home office. She loved it!! Flea Market finds for me or not…we had a fun day!!
Until next time….. blessings, Cindy

Hi Cindy,
I was hoping to see you there but too many people! I even
carried the bag you made for me hoping you might see it and
we would meet………..maybe next time. Found a neat item
for hubby for Father’s day and got me a Gooseberry cook book
and had the girls sign it. Too many things I wanted but had
to pass up………….a bit pricey!! (I am cheap)
Will chat with you more later. Have to get back to work.
Hugs

Hi Cindy, I really wanted to make it last weekend to the Extravaganza, but it just did not happen!!! I always like looking for things to put in my flower beds. I told DH we just have to make it to the July one.
Sorry you didn’t find much, Even when we don’t buy much, we still always have a good time too!!!
I was looking forward to seeing the Gooseberry Patch booth.

Well at least you had fun! I really dislike striking out especially when I’m really excited about the hunt! You didn’t come home totally empty handed though.
