Something old…Something new…Something borrowed…Something blue!! I’ve been working on the something new and it is turning out very beautiful!!
This is what I’ve been working on the last few days. I’m making the veil to go with the wedding dress that I altered and sewed back on a zillion beads…it’s for a friend’s daughter that is getting married at the end of August.
It is a double layered veil with a ruffled edge. I added a row of rhinestones, a few pearls, and two ribbon roses at the top edge where I sewed the two layers together. This edge will be peeking through the curls of her up-do and I wanted it to be pretty.
I’m working on getting all the Swarovski crystals attached to the two layers of the veil. They will have a scattered affected when I’m all done.
As you can see, I still have a few more crystals to put on…well, maybe more than a few!!
I hope to finish it up tomorrow. I will take another picture of the veil when I get it all done.
Here is a peek at the dress…incase you missed it when I posted it before.
I’ll take a picture of the bride in her dress and veil to share with you after the wedding. I’ve known this young lady since she was in 3rd grade…and I so thrilled to be a part of making her feel special and beautiful on her wedding day.
Until next time….. blessings, Cindy

Very beautiful and tedious work that you are doing. She will be a beautiful bride.
I love everything you have bought and how you have it displayed. Your house is
very homey and inviting. Working on my 12 days of Christmas ornaments and
other machine embroidery items. Will be talking to you sometime.
