~Embroidering With A Little Help From My Friends~

I’ve been spending my days working on the last one of my three embroidery job…the ones that I got right after the first of the year. I hope to have it all finished up by the beginning of next week. Thought I would share with you a peek at the design that I’ve been putting on these  27 jackets and 5 shirts.

The jackets are very thick and a pain to hoop, but once they are hooped…they stitch out great. There is almost 14,000 stitches in this design and each one takes a while to stitch out on the machine…so some friends volunteered to help me.

I had my friend Bella to the left of me…

…and my friend Ollie to the right of me.

Bella and Ollie are my youngest daughter’s kitty cats…they came to live with us when our daughter moved back home about 7 or 8 months ago.  They love to come into my sewing room when I’m working in there. If anyone is wondering… yes, they call me grandma! LOL…

And of course, Chloe just wanted me to come play with her…forget that helping mommy stuff!! LOL…

Poor thing has been so upset that I’ve been upstairs working in my sewing room so much…and not all curled up on the sofa with her. She is actually tucked up against me right now as I’m posting this on my blog. She is asleep and her little tongue is barely sticking out…she does this when she is happy. It’s too cute!!

I want to thank everyone for the prayers for my dad. He did well with the surgery, but the doctor was not able to repair the tear…it was too massive. Only time will tell if he has to have a shoulder replacement. The doctor cleaned out the area and cut a tendon to help relieve his pain…he said that this worked for about 50% of folks with massive tears that can’t be repaired and kept them from having a shoulder replacement. So we are all hoping that this will be the case for my dad.

Well, I’ll be back in a few days when I’m done with this embroidery job….can’t wait to get back to some decorating and crafting. Until next time…..       blessings, Cindy

Your helpers are adorable….mine are never too far from me either…unless of course the fire place is on then the heat wins over me! Will be praying this works for your dad.

That’s a neat design. Sounds like Chloe is the most help because you know we can’t do anything unless they are sitting on top of us with their nose in our face, haha.

I’m glad your dad did well with the surgery. I hope this works for him.

Hey, do you by chance still have that email you sent me? I hate to say this, but I quickly skimmed it then lost it. I set up my email on my iPhone and when I did, I somehow deleted all my mail. I’m sick about it because there were some like yours that I didn’t get to really read and reply to. If you still have it, can you send it to me again please? So sorry to ask that of you!

Also wanted to say that I have you entered in my giveaway. You didn’t officially ask to be entered, just wished me a Happy Blogiversary so if you don’t want to be entered, just let me know. I am not doing the random.org thing this time, I am writing all the names down so it won’t be a hassle to take you out if you want me to.
