I was looking through my blog photos and noticed that there were several pictures of my old kitchen cubby.
So, I thought that I would share with you the changes it has gone through since I purchased it.
This is what it looked liked when I first decorated it…
Then after a few months…it looked like this. I added 2 more white pitchers and a white candle jar.
But I wasn’t happy with the little white candle jar…it was too small. So I changed it out with this red tin candle holder.
I left it decorated that way for a very long time, but after Christmas this past year…I just couldn’t put away the jar that Gen made for me from our Christmas swap.
So…I made another change to my old kitchen cubby. What can I say…I’m just a tweaker!! Here is what it looks like now…
I took the greenery off of it for now, but tucked it behind the jar…so that it can be put back on next Christmas. I also added the little tin heart-shaped grater to the top shelf and placed a tiny tin heart mold inside the basket. I’m sure that it will stay like this…well, that is until the tweaking bug gets to me again. LOL….
Thank you all for the comments on my last post…it has been a very sad week. I’ve been giving a lot of thought to what is most important in my life. My hubby, my girls, my grandkids…my family. Love them, hug them, cherish them, and spend lots of time with them…because you never know when those moments might not be there anymore.
Until next time….. hugs and blessings, Cindy

I love your cubby! I wish my counter was big enough for one. LOL. And I am so happy you enjoy your candle! It does look perfect in there, if I do say so myself.
Have a great rest of the weekend!
