This month sure has gone by slowly for me…since I spent most of the time on the sofa taking it easy. After a few weeks, it was really getting to me that I couldn’t go in my sewing/craft room and create. I was trying to figure out what I could work on while still taking it easy…and I realized that I could crochet. So I got my yarn out and my booklet on “Fashion Flowers to Crochet” and got to work on these little crocheted treasures.
I used up some left over pieces of yarn to make these…then got out my button stash and sewed one in the center of each flower.
These are so quick and easy to make that before I knew it…I had myself a bunch of blooming flowers and that sure did brighten my day. It felt so good to be creating again!! I still need to sew the pin-backs on them. These crocheted flowers look great pinned on a jacket or a hat…and on your purse.
I’ve kept the flowers that I just made more simple than the ones that I made a few years ago for my craft shows…these were a big hit.
Hmmmm….maybe I should make some fancier ones this year too. Which do you like better?
I have a doctor’s appointment this afternoon to see how my back and right hip are doing. I feel that I have gotten a lot better here in the last few days…so, I’m hoping for good news today.

Love all the flowers you are creating but
I have to admit I really love the ones
with all the older looking doo-dads on them.

I like the pink and blue with the fuzzy yarn…and all of the neat things in the center! I’ve made crochet roses but never put anything in the middle! I’ll have to remember this! I hope you feel better and continue to improve! ♥

I like both. I would have a variety of each, and I have noticed lots of flowers are being worn in hair-do’s down here. They are fabic flowers and they wear them close to the face. Try some with a bobby pin back or barret..would look cute:) Talk to you sometime this week to see how everyone is doing.
