6. How many years have I been doing craft shows?…   26 yrs…this Fall will be my 27th season

7. Have I ever had my own shop?… yes, in Waynesville, OH

8. How many pets live in my household?…   3…Chloe…my yorkie, …and Bella and Ollie, my youngest daughter’s 2 cats

9. I have a few collections…can you name one of them?…  white pitchers, game boards, sewing scissors, old wooden spools, and Yorkie items…and I’m sure there are a few more that I’m not remembering at the moment.

10. What is my favorite thing to eat every year on my birthday?…   cheesecake (I mentioned this in a post right after my birthday in 2008.)

~Only One More Day To Sign Up For My Birthday Giveaway~

Just one more day until my birthday…so be sure to go back to my last post and sign up for my giveaways. Actually, I’ve already gotten a couple of  birthday gifts…my mom gave me 2 pretty shirts and some cash to spend. One of my close friends gave me a couple of wonderful old things….

a small white ironstone pitcher with the letters BTC and USA stamped on the bottom and an old wooden spool. My friend thought that the pitcher was from the 50′s, but I can’t seem to find any information on it at all on-line. However I did find info on the old spool…

On either end of this spool…it says Black Diamond Silk Company, Scranton, PA and when I did some searching on-line…I came up with a hit that the company was registered with the Industrial Directory of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1916 to 1956.  But I’m still not sure how old my spool is since they is no date on it.

I had almost 400 visitors to my blog today to check out my giveaway, but only 6 have sign up for a chance to win one of my 3 giveaways. ~It’s Birthday Giveaway Time~

Good evening my blogging friends…guess what time it is?

Well…yes it is night-time here at the old homestead, but it is also time for my birthday giveaway since my birthday is just 2 days away. Not only am I having a giveaway for my birthday, but I have reached over 300 posts now and it will also be my 3rd year blogiversary on April 5th. So you know what the means…3 times the celebration with 3 winners!!!

I’ve been giving some thought to how I would like to do my giveaway and this is what I came up with. I’m going to see how well you all know me by giving you some questions to answer and for everyone that you answer correctly…I will enter your name that many times into the giveaway.

Hmmmm…questions first or show you the giveaway goodies first? OK, I share the goodies with you first…but I’m doing that a little differently too. You will have a general idea of what the gifts are going to be, but not the exact ones…because I want the winners to be surprised when their goodie box arrives to them.
