~Mommy Said That I Could Blog For Her~

Yep…it’s me Chloe.

My mommy said that I could blog for her. Why?…you ask, because she has been busy working on all of this.

I’m pretty sure that I heard her say that there is about 100 pieces or more and now she needs to start putting the necklaces together with old keys, charms, rhinestones, beads, and buttons, etc…

Enough of what mommy is doing…I want to show you the pretty bows that Miss Haley put in my hair today when I got groomed.

Yes, they are pretty…but I’m annoyed that they are on top of my head!! Dogs don’t wear bows!!

And I wish that mommy would take them out for me, because if she doesn’t…I will have them out as soon as she turns her back.  She keeps telling me that they make me look really cute!! Who cares about cuteness…I just want these silly things off my head!!

Okay mom…are you done taking pictures of me? Don’t you have all that jewelry to work on? Plus, everyone knows I’m cute now!! Will you pretty please take these bows out?…I’m going to pout until you do!!

~Oh My…11 Days Until The Show~

Wow…have I been busy the last few days. I show you what I’ve been doing, but first I want to share with you what I purchased from Pam of “Baskets N Prims”. A little over a week ago…she showed some beeswax items that she had made and I just love her little moon angel and purchased one from her.

I have her hanging from my big chippy white birdhouse…right above the old sewing drawer that is filled with little pillow tucks.

The bird-house sits on my side-board table and I will share some pics of that whole area as soon as I finish getting all of my Fall decor out. I think the moon angel with look awesome with my Fall/Halloween goodies.

Now to what has been keeping me so busy…..

On Saturday, Mr. D and I went to our granddaughter’s cheerleading competiton…and it sure was hard on this old grandma’s back and knees sitting in the bleachers for over 4 hours, but I wouldn’t have missed it for anything.  Josie is the one in the middle of the photo. I’m so proud of her and her teammates…they got 3rd place in both their cheer and dance routines.

And this is the other thing that has kept me really busy for the last 3 days…

Yep!! I made 9 more Candy Corn Mice. This bunch is a little different from the first ones that I made, because I turned these…..

into these…..

I had to leave the rusty bottle caps on them, because they were glued to the candy corn. It’s okay with me…I think they look really cute with both the pumpkin and the bottle cap.

Wow…there is only 11 more days until my show!! Oh my…has these past few months of crafting and sewing gone by so quickly!! Will be trying to finish up the vintage style jewelry this week…should have pics to show later in the week.

~Needed Pin Backs…Got Sidetracked~

I ran out of pin backs to put on some of the jewelry that I made…so I headed out to the craft store. However, when I got there…I got sidetracked and purchased a few more things than just pin backs.

Couldn’t resisted getting these cute little mice that are peeking out of a pumpkin and a gourd.

Also found a sign to hang in the living room…it is hard to see in this photo, but the wood is weathered and crackled. I think it is perfect for my prim cottage.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I’m going to my granddaughter’s cheerleading competition…but other then that, I will be home working on more goodies for my upcoming show. Might even take a little break from crafting to put out my Fall decorations.
