~The Christmas tree mice are all done~

I’m happy to say that all 24 of the Christmas tree mice are now done…..

They come in two sizes…Large…

…and Small…

Some are wrapped in Christmas lights and some are wrapped in snowflake garland. They all have rusty safety-pin arms and rusty nail legs…and stars hanging from their rusty wire tails.

My sister and I both kept one and I’m doing a swap for another one…so I have 21 that will be for sale. Eight of them are now listed in my shop here on my blog…4 larges ones and 4 small ones. All the others ones are going to my Christmas show that is on Nov. 11th & 12th.

Hope you will go over to my shop and take a peek. You can get to my shop from the link above my blog header… ~Cynthia lee Designs…My Shop~

My next project is making more of these prim penny-rug pins for my Christmas show.

Until next time……. blessings, Cindy

~Two weeks until my Christmas show~

It’s hard to believe that my Christmas show is only 2 weeks away. My sister came over a couple of days this week to help me finish up the mice and work on some other things. Here is a little peek of one of mice that are finished…..

I need to finish up taking the photos of all of the mice and hope to list them in my shop in the next few days. I will have 8 of them for sale…4 large ones and 4 small ones. I will be taking the rest of them to the show with me. Here are a few more goodies that are going to the Christmas show…

~ A Santa…..

~A Snowman Light…..

…a plate of Christmas cookies.~

I still need to finish up some winter/Christmas pins…trying something new this year with them…pics coming soon. Also need to get some more embroidered towels done…since I almost sold out of them at my last show.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Trick or Treat is from 6 to 8pm…can’t wait to see my grandkids in their costumes! Oh…and Chloe too!! Yeap…she has a Pumpkin hat and Halloween shirt that glows in the dark…and she is a big hit with all the kids. We pass out candy and she passes out kisses if the kids get close enough to her. LOL…

Until next time…….         blessings, Cindy

~A Lion, Mice, and My Grandson…Oh My~

Things are crazy at my house…there was a lion that needed my help! Okay…not a real lion, but this one that I put some embroidery on for a little one that is having a birthday soon.

His grandma asked my friend, Linda, if she could put embroidery on it…so she called me. This was the first time that I’ve ever been asked to embroider on a stuff toy. Well….there was no way to hoop this little fellow, so I made a patch out of wool-felt and put the embroidery on that and Linda sewed it onto the body. We thought it turned out adorable and we hope the Tyren loves it as much as we do.

Not only was there a lion in my house in this week…but mice have taken over the place! Okay…not real mice, but my little Christmas tree ones which I hope to finish up today or tomorrow. Thought I would share a few updated peeks of them.

When I took this picture…he didn’t have his legs or tail yet…

These next two mice have their legs, but not their tails yet. I love the expression on this one’s face…

This little mouse is the one that I’ve decided to keep for myself…thinking I can keep him out all winter.

I hope to list some in my shop for sale by this weekend.

Now…about my adorable little grandson. Peyton and his mommy came to visit us on Monday evening while his sissy, Josie, was helping out with some cleaning of the kid’s rooms over at church. As you can see…we have to Peyton proof when he comes to visit. This little guy likes to get into everything!

Okay…now for the ”Oh My” part that was in the title to this post……

Sorry about the blurry picture…he was running around playing football. At the moment, he loves football and I had a lot of fun chasing him, then tackling him. There was a lot of laughing going on in my house that night. He didn’t want to put the little football away when it was time for them to go…so Grandpa and I told him that he could just take it home with him.

Well…after they got home, my daughter texted me this photo….

He had chewed the end off of it on their way home!! She realized he had done it while they were still on the drive home and she had to pull-over to get it out of his mouth. Thank goodness…he didn’t try to swallow it!! No more soft footballs or other soft toys for him right now. What a little stinker…Oh My!!!

Until next time…….         blessings, Cindy
