Things are crazy at my house…there was a lion that needed my help! Okay…not a real lion, but this one that I put some embroidery on for a little one that is having a birthday soon.
His grandma asked my friend, Linda, if she could put embroidery on it…so she called me. This was the first time that I’ve ever been asked to embroider on a stuff toy. Well….there was no way to hoop this little fellow, so I made a patch out of wool-felt and put the embroidery on that and Linda sewed it onto the body. We thought it turned out adorable and we hope the Tyren loves it as much as we do.
Not only was there a lion in my house in this week…but mice have taken over the place! Okay…not real mice, but my little Christmas tree ones which I hope to finish up today or tomorrow. Thought I would share a few updated peeks of them.
When I took this picture…he didn’t have his legs or tail yet…
These next two mice have their legs, but not their tails yet. I love the expression on this one’s face…

This little mouse is the one that I’ve decided to keep for myself…thinking I can keep him out all winter.
I hope to list some in my shop for sale by this weekend.
Now…about my adorable little grandson. Peyton and his mommy came to visit us on Monday evening while his sissy, Josie, was helping out with some cleaning of the kid’s rooms over at church. As you can see…we have to Peyton proof when he comes to visit. This little guy likes to get into everything!
Okay…now for the ”Oh My” part that was in the title to this post……
Sorry about the blurry picture…he was running around playing football. At the moment, he loves football and I had a lot of fun chasing him, then tackling him. There was a lot of laughing going on in my house that night. He didn’t want to put the little football away when it was time for them to go…so Grandpa and I told him that he could just take it home with him.

Well…after they got home, my daughter texted me this photo….
He had chewed the end off of it on their way home!! She realized he had done it while they were still on the drive home and she had to pull-over to get it out of his mouth. Thank goodness…he didn’t try to swallow it!! No more soft footballs or other soft toys for him right now. What a little stinker…Oh My!!!
Until next time……. blessings, Cindy

Cindy, First of all Peyton is a little cutie. Wow, so glad he didn’t get choked on the football. Kinda funny since he is okay. I don’t blame you, I would watch him close from now on. Some kids are bad about putting things in their mouth. When Holly was little, she would stick stuff up her nose. Got a bead hung up there on vacation one time. KIDS!
Love the Christmas mice. So cute. I would have to keep one for myself also if I were you, and a great job on the lion. Have a great Thursday

Hi Cindy,
LOL, what a sweet little grandson….but so typical. I had to giggle when I saw the football – don’t know why kids love to bite and chew things but sometimes I feel like it!!!!
