~Little Helper and Some Decorating~

Things are finally getting back to normal for me after having my biopsy…so Mr. D and I went out yesterday to Moochie & Co. and got Zoey a collar with her name on it…also got both doggies new balls to play with…and they got a free treat to share. It felt so good to get out and about…I was getting stir crazy.

I also cooked dinner for the first time in over a week and a half and I was glad to be back in the kitchen. While cleaning up after we ate…I turned around to see that I had a little helper with putting things in the dishwasher. “Really mommy…..I was just trying to help you!!
I also did some redecorating today…finally was able to put up my new peg-rack that I got from “The Country Gentlemen”…..it is hanging in the dining room.
I also put out the little cubby box that Mr. D got me for Christmas…it is now sitting on top of the old jeweler’s cupboard, which is between the living room and the dining room. I love how it looks there…
While I was tweaking that area…I added a crock and a jug to the ironing-board gathering…
It felt so good to be doing a little decorating and tweaking…..and I hope to be doing some sewing and crafting this coming week. Well….I’m off to get some rest before the storms and winds get here. Heard we could have wind gust over 50 mph…I so hope we don’t lose any tree branches or trees…or our electricity.
Until next time…….         blessings, Cindy

LOL at your “helper”. That must be your prewash setting. ;)

So glad you got out Cindy, we do tend to get a little stir crazy at home after awhile. Love your little helper, lol, I have the same problem with my Kiah when I’m loading the dishwasher, she seems to think the dishes are in need of a pre-wash, ugh:/ Hope you have a wonderful day:)

    Hi Cindy,
Good to be back in the ‘world’ isn’t it…I know how you feel, really I do…when my back is bad I do not do ANYTHING and you feel so home bound and left out.
Love your little helper – soooo cute. You know, when we have animals they become part of the family don’t they.

    Nice tweaking there lady!

Hi Cindy, Glad I could finally leave a comment. Haven’t been able to the last few times I have tried. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Love your little “helper”. Looks like she might be a little “nosey” to me!! Cute. Love your tweaking. Love the old ironing board. I have 2 but they are not in good shape, but found one that is on our trip. Don’t know where I will display it yet. We had Storms this morning and were under a tornado watch. Take care and be safe.

Thank you for coming over to my blog and following me. I love yorkies. How big are your 2? Izzy is a bigger yorkie as she weighes about 8 pds I think. I so would LOVE a small, tiny one, but do not have the money to adopt one, as the puppies are so expensive! I am disabled and would love a tiny female to train as a service dog to take everywhere with me. Maybe one day!
I am glad that you are feeling btter and that is behind you. I love your blog!!!

    God Bless~

Zoey is just so adorable! My little miniature schnauzer always want to “help” also.

Now you better watch it and don’t over-do it! Take care of yourself and rest. I know it’s hard to be down but sometimes our body needs it!

I love your whole vignette on top of the old jeweler’s cupboard, it looks great Cindy! The ironing board display looks great too. Every time I see yours, I keep thinking I need to get mine out of the garage and get it into my laundry room. I just love the little doily sitting on top of it. Everything looks great, girl~

So glad you are feeling better and up and around. Yes, cabin fever would settle in here too after a few days. Hopefully, you didn’t get anything bad from the storm. Had a few here too – last night it sounded like the windows would break from the winds. Eek!

Romeo asked me to remind you to be sure and compensate your little helper – he said it’s only fair :)

    Have a great weekend!
