~Nothings Left but the Kitchen Sink~

Actually…there still is cabinets under the kitchen sink, but not for very much longer.

The stove is now sitting in my living room and the fridge is about to be moved into the dining room. We couldn’t get it out of the kitchen until Mr D. cut out part of this wall. And yes, that ugly floor tile is coming up…it is one of three that had to come up. Oh…the joys of remodeling an older home.

There are 2 openings to get into our kitchen and neither one was wide enough to get a fridge in or out. When we moved in, they had left their fridge with the house…but when we needed a new one, it had to be lifted up above the railing on the stairway to get it into the kitchen. Now…with a wider opening between the dining room and the kitchen…a new fridge can just be rolled right in.

Other than working on the kitchen…not much is going on here.

Well…except for some puppy cuteness!! One of Zoey’s favorite places is to get between two pillows…

Also had a visitor last night hanging out on the front window…

I saw him when I was going out to water my Hydrangeas…

Also wanted to let you know that there is going to be some changes coming to Cynthia lee Designs and also to my blog. Actually…will be moving my blog to my own domain here soon. Will keep you posted on all of that.

Until next time…….         blessings, Cindy

So many new kitchens and kitchen remodels going on this summer. I would imagine getting a new kitchen is like a Christmas gift and Birthday gift all rolled into one!

I can’t wait to see the finished kitchen–it will be awesome!! Zoey looks a bit intimidated by the remodeling–such a sweet pic! It will be done before you know it and you will be enjoying a beautiful new room.–Jan

I’ve been enjoying the unfolding of your remodel and can’t wait to see the finished product! (not more than you, I know!) Just think how much fun it will be to decorate and organize it when completed.

We know all about renovating/removing a kitchen! I feel your angst!! But when all done, you will saying, “We should have done this a long time ago.” …well, that were our sentiments. Chloe looks so cute under her pillows! Now, is that a bat????

    Hi, Cindy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Congrats on your new kitchen. I know its a hassle while all the work is going on, but what a great new space you will have when it’s done. That wallpaper is funny.
